The Texas A&M equestrian English team heads to West Texas A&M in Canyon this weekend for a chance to qualify for the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association National Championship.
The Aggies go into the show holding a 193-169 lead over two-time defending regional champion Oklahoma State.
A&M is led by senior Meredith Houx who has been rewriting the Aggie record books so far this season. In 10 regional rides, Houx has placed first in eight rides, and second in the other two.
A&M will compete in two shows Saturday at 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. The Aggies will compete in a third show Sunday at 9:30 a.m.
