Certificate Thresholds

To avoid inactivation, certificates must meet the following criteria.

Undergraduate Certificates:

It must have 10 students complete it within the past two years
It must have a current-year enrollment of at least five students alongside five graduates per year

Graduate Certificates:

It must have six students complete it within the past two years
It must have a current-year enrollment of at least three students alongside three completions per year

These numbers originate from a statement from a Texas A&M spokesperson alongside Executive Vice President and Provost Alan Sams’s opening speech during the Oct. 14 Faculty Senate meeting.
