Sophomore Kyle Allen has been named the Texas A&M starting quarterback against Arizona State on Sept. 5.
The start was not given to Allen by any means, he had to compete tooth-and-nail, with true freshman, Kyler Murray. Although Murray arrived at Texas A&M garnering the title of Gatorade Player of the Year, the experience of Kyle Allen proved to trump the elite skill set of the freshman.
