Midnight Yell Practice – The Battalion

<p>Junior Yell Leader <strong>Connor Joseph </strong>paces back and forth from the end zone to the 50-yard line. This became a tradition when Peanut Owens was a Yell Leader. At this time, Yell Practice was held at the YMCA building. This building has very narrow steps, and Owens <span>had very large feet. To keep his balance he would walk back and forth across the steps and the other Yell Leaders began to join in. </span></p>

The first Midnight Yell Practice of the 2017 football season drew thousands of current and former students into Kyle Field Friday night. The Aggies will play Nicholls State Saturday at 6 p.m.
