The Aggies played their first game in the 2022 National Invitation Tournament in Reed Arena on Tuesday, Mar. 15, 2022.
The Aggies took their first victory in the National Invitational Tournament as they defeated Alcorn State (74-62). After a slow first half, the Aggies dominated in the second, scoring 47 of their 74 points. Tyrece Radford led the team with 14 points, followed closely by Wade Taylor IV and Hassan Diarra who both scored 12 points. The Aggies will face off in the second round of the NIT this weekend.
