After what has no doubt been a frustrating month, the Texas A&M men’s basketball team has finally found victory in Reed Arena once again. The Aggies claim their first victory since their road win against Missouri on Jan. 15. Buzz Williams’ team did so in dramatic fashion, beating out the Gators by a single point. The Aggies have been unable to find a break since their loss at home to Kentucky, but after pulling out a lead in the first half, Texas A&M managed to hang on and break their nearly month-long losing streak. The Aggies will return to Reed Arena on Feb. 22 to face the Georgia Bulldogs for the second time this season.
