The Texas A&M softball team (7-0) defeated Kansas (5-2) 9-1 Friday afternoon at Davis Diamond. The day was cold and windy, and both teams worked hard against each other and the elements. Sophomore catcher and outfielder Mayce Allen (5) achieved her first home run, highlighting a decisive victory for the Aggies.
The Aggies will play against Stephen F. Austin State University at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
