Reveille VIII was 12 years old when she passed away on June 25, 2018. While General was her rank, students affectionately called her, "The Queen of Aggieland".
Reveille VIII served as the university mascot for seven years, from August 2008 to May 2015. During those years she saw the Aggies move from the Big 12 to the SEC and she will be buried on the North Side of Kyle Field with her predecessors so they can continue to watch the Aggies outscore their opponents.
