Third Floor Cantina:
Tonight the Cantina will showcase the intense musical groove of Bryan-College Station bands Exist and Knowledge. The show will begin at 9 p.m. Cover charge is $5.
Big Pauly’s:
Acoustic singer Shane Walker will play a blend of original and covered songs of the Texas country and blues flavor with special guest, Professor Scott Austin. The show will start about 9 p.m. There is no cover charge.
Fitzwilly’s:
Blues band Blue Valentine will entertain bar guests on the outdoor stage at 9:30 p.m. Cover charge is TBD.
Zapatos:
Wide Open Mic Night, hosted by Chad Boyd, will begin on the porch stage at 8:30 p.m. Musicians are invited to express themselves with cover songs or originals. There is no cover charge.
Friday:
Third Floor Cantina:
New to College Station, Adamo’s emotional message is delivered from the platform of memorable melody and thoughtful lyrical content and will accompany local, alternative rock band, Floodgate. The show begins at 9 p.m. Cover is $5.
Big Pauly’s:
Local country rock favorites, the Mike Ethan Messick band, will perform at 9 p.m. There is no cover charge.
Fitzwilly’s:
Straight from Austin, Karen Chavis will perform blues and rock music at 9 p.m. Cover is $5.
Sweet Eugene’s:
Acoustic band Cubie will perform at the coffeehouse from 9 p.m. until midnight. There is a $1 cover charge.
Zapatos Cantina:
At 9 p.m., 6 Bridges will release its demo CD and entertaining guests on the porch stage with acoustic guitars and harmonization to familiar tunes by Jack-O-Pierce and Cowboy Mouth, as well as some originals. There is no cover charge.
Saturday:
Third Floor Cantina
Local favorite, Saving Dawn, will perform with the rock, funk and folk band, Two Spy will perform at 9 p.m. Cover is $5.
Fitzwilly’s:
The Full House Blues Band will perform at 9 p.m. on the outdoor stage. Cover charge is TBD.
Sweet Eugene’s:
Music enthusiasts are encouraged to check out the rare talent of Rodney Brannigan, the “man with two guitars.” Visiting from Amarillo, Brannigan’s acoustic, alternative groove is yielded through complete mastery and unique manipulation of his musical instruments. Brannigan will play from 9 p.m. to midnight. Cover is $1.
Zapatos Cantina:
Local jam band Easy Louie will perform at 9 p.m. with a unique and artistic sound, described by one fan as “Phish-esque.” Last Free Exit fans will recognize the band’s former drummer, Brian Beadle, again appealing to the music connoisseurs of College Station with this outstanding threesome. There is no cover charge.
