In the process of becoming SEC champions, the A&M women beat several school records and lifetime bests.
The Texas A&M women’s swimming and diving team will kick off their final meet of the season at the NCAA Championships on Wednesday.
The meet will be hosted by the University of Texas at the Jamail Texas Swim Center in Austin.
A&M has a regular season record of 8-1 and are 3-0 against Southeastern Conference opponents, with their only regular season loss coming to NCAA host Texas. A&M has placed third at NCAAs for the last two years and is coming off its fourth consecutive SEC Championship win.
The Aggies have 17 swimmers and divers qualified for the NCAA meet.
The meet will start with preliminaries at 9 a.m. on Wednesday and finals following at 5 p.m., with the schedule continuing through Saturday.
