Yelisey is a Mechanical Engineering major and E2EnMed member from Kansas City, Kansas. He joined The Battalion as a news reporter in September 2025, where he covers scientific achievements and discoveries within Texas A&M’s research community. Outside the newsroom, Yelisey enjoys painting, playing tennis, basketball, and badminton, swimming, and playing the piano. After college, he hopes to become a physician and design innovative medical devices.
