CSPD bomb squad called to identify suspicious object on Villa Maria and Hwy 47

The College Station bomb squad has been called to help identify and remove a suspicious object located on Villa Maria and Hwy 47, according to a Bryan Police Department press release.
According to the press release, all Hwy 47 traffic will be diverted to feeder roads until further notice.
UPDATE (5 p.m. Monday): The package the CSPD bomb squad was called to remove has been identified as a pipe. Hwy 47 is open as of 5 p.m. Monday.
