Jennifer Alatuogu-Okechukwu, News Reporter
My name is Jennifer Alatuogu-Okechukwu, an Epidemiology student from Imo State, Nigeria. I joined The Battalion as a news writer at the start of the Fall 2024 semester, and I’ve been thoroughly enjoying the experience. While I often write articles related to health, thanks to my background, exploring non-health topics has been a thrilling venture. I am also the founder of a health blog called ‘Understanding P.C.O.S,’ dedicated to raising awareness about polycystic ovary syndrome. In addition to my role at The Battalion, I am actively involved in several organizations, including the Epidemiology Student Association and the Black Graduate Student Association.
