The Texas A&M Student Senate heard the student body president candidates speak Wednesday night and introduced three bills.
The Senate passed a bill that would ask the facilities manager of Kyle Field and other sporting venues to ban the use of smokeless tobacco due to its messy nature.
Two other bills on the agenda were referred to committee. One would create temporary parking along Coke Street for the Corps of Cadets residence halls in the area.
The other would create ten map kiosks around campus in conjunction with bus operations and the visitor’s center. The bill would also redesign the present campus and bus route maps.
