BEAUMONT, Texas (AP) — An Arizona inmate escaped from the Newton County Correctional Center by cutting a hole through a fence in a low-security area, a prison employee said.
James R. Duncan, 38, broke out about 2:30 a.m. Sunday, a dispatcher with the Newton County sheriff’s office said.The area from which Duncan escaped had limited security.
Duncan was last seen wearing a two-piece orange jail uniform Duncan is white, 6 feet, 4 inches tall, weighs 215 pounds and has bushy blond-brown hair and blue eyes.
