Permits for the West Campus Parking Garage will be available for purchase by all commuter and resident students, faculty, staff and vendors, said Doug Williams, associate director of Transportation Services.
Transportation Services is also looking into other matters concerning the operation of what will be the largest parking garage on campus.
“We are discussing the possibility of offering discounted parking rates in the West Campus Garage, especially in the evening,” Williams said.
The garage is located on the north side of the Student Recreation Center. Both the garage and the pedestrian passageway underneath Wellborn Road are on schedule and will be completed in August 2003.
