Samantha Horn, the missing Texas A&M student, has been located by the University Police Department and reported safe. Horn was found Monday night at approximately 11 p.m., just hours after police began seeking public aid in finding her. Horn was reported missing by her parents after last being seen Saturday at her College Station home.
Lt. Allan Baron, UPD public information officer, said after many attempts to make contact with Horn at her residence in College Station and at her place of employment, a family member of Horn’s reached out to the UPD. Baron said the only thing the family member said was that she made contact with Horn and Horn was okay.
Officers found Horn at her place of residence later that night. Baron said the UPD made a diligent effort to locate Horn and they were fortunate enough to receive contact.
Baron said the investigation in Horn’s whereabouts throughout her time missing is ongoing, and more information will be available soon.
