Investigations are still underway after Courtney Deeley was found dead in her apartment Saturday.
Officers from the College Station Police Department were sent by Deeley’s relatives to investigate the apartment, according to a press release issued by the CSPD. Deeley, a 25-year-old poultry science major, was deceased when officers reached the apartment, according to the press release.
Although officials are unsure about the time of death, Deeley had sent e-mails to her friends at 2 a.m. the day of her death, said CSPD Sergeant Brandy Norris.
Foul play is not suspected to be the cause of death but an autopsy is still underway, Norris said. Initial reports are expected to be released Monday, she said.
