Texas A&M vs. Cornell Game 2

With bad weather in the forecast, it was decided to have a double header on Friday in order to play the three game series.

In the second game of a double header, the Aggies shut out Cornell in a 22-0 victory. Sophomore Chris Andritsos hit a cycle, the second Aggie to in a week, and before that it had been seven years.  The Aggies will face the Cornell Big Red Saturday at 2 P.M. at Olsen Field.

  • Freshman left-handed pitcher Chandler Jozwiak pitched through the first five innings of the games.

  • Sophomore right handed pitcher Jason Ruffcorn pitched 17 times in the eighth for his season debut.

  • A Cornell runner tries to steal a base in an effort to prevent a shutout.

  • After a 22-0 victory the Aggies prepare to take on Cornell once again.
