A post on YikYak threatening the Texas A&M campus landed the responsible party in University Police Department custody within a matter of hours Tuesday evening.
UPD was notified of a threat to campus and implemented a higher police presence until the threat was able to be confirmed or denied.
According to UPD, the threat was posted on YikYak, a social media app. While the app is anonymous, UPD was able to track down the original poster and arrested him or her.
