The Texas A&M Division of Information Technology sent out an email Tuesday morning warning students about a phishing email circulating on campus.
The Division of IT warned students not to click any links in an email with the subject “student refund ready.” The message, which appears to have been sent by Student Business Services, looks authentic but takes individuals who click on the link to a malicious site.
Help Desk Central said students who clicked on the link should immediately change their NetID password and delete the message. Students are advised to sign up for NetID Two-Factor Authentication at duo.tamu.edu.
