The iconic Texan Willie Nelson will perform to a sold out Rudder Theater Monday.
Rachel Fisher, a student committee chair of MSC OPAS, said the show has been sold out for about a month.
“Willie Nelson is one of those performers who spans generations, you know people who have grown up listening to him, people who have discovered him in their young adulthood, just all kinds of community members, and everyone is coming out,” Fisher said.
Fisher said OPAS viewed a performance from Willie Nelson as an incredible opportunity. She said the organization felt like it would be a “once in a lifetime” chance for students and the rest of the community.
Fisher said tickets sold out quickly the first day they were available.
“As time has progressed more and more tickets have opened up just because of logistical standards and what not,” Fisher said. “It’s been officially sold out for about a month now. People might release tickets if they can’t come, but it was pretty high demand.”
