Gates, Bresciani will open houses for Parents’ Weekend
Texas A&M President and Mrs. Robert M. Gates and Vice President for Student Affairs Dean Bresciani will hold open houses Saturday as part of Parents’ Weekend.
The houses will be open from 10 a.m. until noon Saturday. The homes are on Throckmorton Street across from Duncan Drill Field.
Downtown Bryan will screen A&M Architecture program’s short film
Students from the visualization program in Texas A&M’s Department of Architecture will show their animated short film, “Some Assembly Required,” on the western wall of Square One restaurant in downtown Bryan at 8 p.m. Friday.
A&M takes fifth place in Rice Competition
Texas A&M biomedical engineering Ph.D student Saurabh Biswas and Mays MBA student Ben Price took fifth place overall at the Rice Business Plan Competition for their presentation of a business plan to commercialize a non-invasive colon cancer diagnostic technology.
