Yes, war is a horrible thing to face and sending troops into a foreign country to fight is scary, but we must remember that these men and women knew what they were getting into when they enlisted.
Isn’t that what the military is for, to fight for our country when fighting is necessary?
For those of you who believe this war is not necessary, think back a year and a half to a couple of hijacked planes, a few destroyed buildings, and almost 3,000 innocent people lost in a pile of steel, glass and debris. Those people are still dead, and a regime that is may be partially responsible for it is still in power, still unchecked and still a great threat to our country’s safety. Come on, people, we said we’d never forget.
