CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico (AP) – Relatives of missing people demanded on Wednesday that police give them information on 11 bodies found in the backyard of what is believed to be a drug trafficker’s safe house.
Officials told family members, who have been passing by the house since the first bodies were discovered last week, that they would be given more information later.
Alicia Herrera, whose nephew disappeared on Nov. 30, came by Tuesday and urged police to tell her if her nephew was among the dead.
”He went out one Sunday at around 1 p.m. and we never saw him again,” she said. ”I thought maybe they could let me know whether he was here or they could let me know whether they found him.”
