The University Police Department is investigating an accident that involved a black mustang hitting a tree in the front yard of the vice president’s house Thursday morning.
According to a statement by Lt. Allan Baron, a lone student driving a black mustang veered off of Throckmorton St. and struck a tree in the front yard of the vice president’s house around 11 a.m. Thursday morning. No one was injured in the accident.
“On May 14, 2015 at approximately 11 a.m. the University Police received a report of a one vehicle accident on Throckmorton St. A black Ford Mustang was traveling south on Throckmorton St. when the driver lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree in the front yard of the Vice President’s house. There was extensive damage to the vehicle. The driver was the only occupant of the vehicle and was not injured. The University Police is currently investigating this accident. The driver is a Texas A&M University student.”
