Trespasser reported in White Creek apartments

The Texas A&M University Police Department received two reports of a suspicious person entering rooms at White Creek Apartments Sunday.
According to a UPD  release, at about 3:00 a.m. Sunday morning, the suspect entered a woman’s room through an unlocked door while she was sleeping. He awoke her by tapping her on the shoulder and saying her name several times. The suspect had a brief conversation with her and then left.
The suspect was described by the woman as an overweight 5-foot-10 black male with a deep voice in his 30s. The woman said he was wearing a white T-shirt and jeans, had short hair and no facial hair, according to the news release.
UPD later received another report from a resident advisor at White Creek Apartments at around the same time as the initial incident. The RA reported a black male matching the description from the previous report entering his apartment and leaving quickly after being confronted.
Anyone with information regarding these cases is urged to contact the University Police Department at 979-845-2345.
