Two pedestrians were hit by a pickup truck early Sunday morning on University Dr. The victims, identified as 19-year-old Daisy Estrada and 20-year-old Brian Gonzalez, died later that morning from injuries. Both Estrada and Gonzalez were from Conroe, Texas, according to a College Station Police Department press release.
Officers responded to the call at 12:47 a.m., where they found the victims and the truck, along with its driver, who remained cooperative and submitted to a blood test. Witnesses reported the truck was travelling westbound on University Dr. when the couple dashed out in front of the vehicle.
