Thousands of high school athletes across the nation put pen to paper on Wednesday, turning their dreams of playing college football into reality. For Texas A&M football, the day could not have gone any better. Texas A&M secured 24 commits from across the country from the likes of Texas, California, Florida, Utah, Alabama, Tennessee and Arizona. Following Early National Signing Day, the Aggies boast the eighth-ranked recruiting class in the country, according to 247Sports.
“It’s a well balanced class across the board,” coach Mike Elko said. “Eleven on defense, 13 on offense. The position balance is exactly what we wanted it to be. We feel like we hit ,position-wise, everywhere we wanted to hit”.
Let’s take a look at the 24 newest A&M signees:
Jerome Myles, five-star WR (Corner Canyon HS / Draper, Utah)
Myles is one of the top wide receivers in the 2025 class. Myles decommitted from USC on Dec. 1 and was immediately crystal balled to land at A&M. The 6-foot-2, 210-pound receiver is rated as the fifth-best receiver and the 23rd-best overall player in the class of ‘25.
Lamont Rogers, five-star OT (Horn HS / Mesquite)
Lamont Rogers is the cornerstone of A&M’s 2025 offensive line haul. The 6-foot-6, 330-pound lineman is ranked as the ninth-best player in Texas and the 26th-best player nationally. Rogers, who initially committed to Missouri, announced his decommitment on Dec. 2 and signed with the Aggies on Dec. 4.
Kelshaun Johnson, four-star WR (Hitchcock HS / Hitchcock)
Johnson brings explosiveness and versatility to the Aggies’ offense. At 5-foot-11 and 165 pounds, Johnson thrives on creating big plays and is renowned for his speed and agility. Johnson is expected to provide a dynamic playmaking option for the A&M offense, complementing the physical presence of fellow signee Myles.
Marco Jones, four-star EDGE (San Ramon Valley HS / Dublin, Calif.)
Jones is a promising defensive recruit in A&M’s 2025 class. Standing 6-foot-5 and weighing 245 pounds, Jones is ranked as the 12th-best edge rusher in the class. He has the frame to add more weight and strength under renowned strength and conditioning coach Tommy Moffitt. Jones will also be taking his talents to Olsen Field to be a part of the Aggie baseball team.
Noah Mikhail, four-star LB (Bonita HS / La Verne, Calif.)
Mikhail brings size and versatility to the Aggies’ linebacker room at 6-foot-3 and 225 pounds. Ranked as the seventh-best linebacker nationally and the eighth-best player in California, Mikhail will showcase his skills in the Navy All-American Bowl. Mikhail has shown unique athleticism as a defender, allowing him to play both ways in high school.
Adonyss Currie, four-star CB (Quartz Hill HS / Lancaster, Calif.)
Another California kid, Currie is ranked as the fifth-best player in California and the eighth-best cornerback nationally. At 6-foot-2 and 175 pounds, Currie combines elite length and speed, evidenced by his impressive 10.5-second 100-meter dash. A two-way player in high school, Currie showcased his athleticism on both sides of the ball, but his potential as a lockdown cornerback stands out.
DJ Sanders, four-star DL (Bellville HS / Bellville)
Sanders is one of the most coveted recruits in A&M’s 2025 class. Standing at 6-foot-34 and 315 pounds, Sanders is ranked as the 10th-best defensive lineman in the nation and the 16th-best player in Texas. Known for his explosiveness and power, Sanders has been described by scouts as “a disruptive force with an unverified burly frame.”
Jonte Newman, four-star OT (Bridgeland HS / Cypress)
At 6-foot-5.5 and 300 pounds, Newman is regarded as the most versatile offensive lineman in the Aggies’ 2025 recruiting class. Newman’s skill set and highly-productive 2024 season earned him a spot as a finalist for several awards at the high school level.
Nelson McGuire, four-star OL (Midlothian HS / Dallas)
McGuire quickly caught the attention of scouts for his dominant performances in the trenches. Scouts have described McGuire as “a mountain of a human” due to his imposing physical presence at 6-foot-5 and 315 pounds. The four-star signee is relatively new to the sport but already stands out for his violent playing style and raw power.
Jamarion Morrow, three-star RB (Melrose HS / Memphis, Tenn.)
Morrow is one of the most exciting prospects in A&M’s 2025 recruiting class. The standout athlete is most likely going to play running back as his “quick twitch” athleticism ought to give the Aggies a spark in the backfield. At 5-foot-10 and 190 pounds, Morrow is ranked as the 13th-best athlete nationally and the ninth-best player in Tennessee.
Deondrae “Tiger” Riden Jr., three-star RB (DeSoto HS / DeSoto)
Riden has led the DeSoto Eagles to back-to-back state championships and is looking to make it three in a row this year. The 5-foot-11, 198-pound back is also a finalist for Dave Campbell’s Texas Football Mr. Texas Player of the Year award, making him an extremely promising recruit for the class of 2025.
Chace Sims, four-star DL (Randle HS / Houston)
Sims has seen his recruiting stock soar since committing to A&M in the spring. The 6-foot-3, 295-pound prospect turned heads with a dominant junior season, recording 86 tackles, 18 tackles for loss and 11 sacks.
Kelvion Riggins, three-star LB (Forney HS / Forney)
Riggins was the first recruit to commit under head coach Mike Elko, signaling the start of an exciting new era for A&M. He stands at 6-foot-1 and 210 pounds, demonstrating why he is a top-50 player in Texas. His ability to play from side to side and cover vast amounts of space will give the Aggies a promising talent on the defensive side of the ball.
Deyjhon Pettaway, four-star CB (Paetow HS / Katy)
Pettaway, the younger brother of A&M sophomore LB Daymion Sanford, stands at 6 feet and 185 pounds and will most likely play at nickelback. His speed and athleticism make him an ideal fit for the Aggies’ defensive scheme, where he’ll look to continue his family’s legacy at A&M.
Cobey Sellers, four-star CB (Shadow Creek HS / Houston)
Sellers, at 6 feet and 170 pounds, is a versatile talent. His combination of size, length and athleticism make him a promising press-man corner. The four-star saw some quarterback play during his high school career, throwing for 956 yards and 17 touchdowns in just six games with an impressive 70.7% completion rate. Hopefully, his experience will enhance Sellers’ ability to read quarterbacks’ eyes and make plays on the ball.
Kiotti Armstrong, four-star TE (Jasper HS / Jasper)
Armstrong, a 6-foot-6, 254-pounder, is a true physical specimen and one of the highest-rated tight ends in the class of 2025 at No. 7 nationally. Armstrong is a multi-sport athlete who has also excelled in basketball and baseball, showcasing his athleticism and versatility. Known as “a titan of a tight end,” Armstrong will look to make an immediate impact on A&M’s offense.
Marcus Garcia, three-star OT (Ryan HS / Denton)
Standing at 6-foot-5 and 285 pounds, Garcia is a physically-gifted offensive tackle with tremendous upside. Garcia has proven himself as an elite multi-sport athlete, winning both the AAU National Championship and the USA Track and Field National Championship in discus in 2023.
Brady Hart, three-star QB (Cocoa HS / Cocoa, Fla.)
Hart is one of two signal-callers in A&M’s 2025 class, joining the unsigned Eli Morcos out of Montgomery. Originally committed to Michigan, Hart reclassified to the 2025 cycle after decommitting with Bryce Underwood’s flip to the Wolverines. Ranked as the 22nd-best QB in the class, Hart opted to forgo his senior season to accelerate his development. He led his team to the Florida 2A State championship during his sophomore year and is now aiming for back-to-back titles this season.
Rashad Johnson Jr., four-star S (South Sumter HS / Bushnell, Fla.)
Johnson is ranked as the 22nd-best safety in the class of 2025. At 6-foot-2 and 190 pounds, Johnson has the prototypical safety body and excels at multiple positions . Scouts describe him as an “ideal hybrid nickel defender in an aggressive defense” who “plays a violent brand of football.”
Jamar Beal-Goines, four-star CB (Desert Edge HS / Goodyear, Ariz.)
Beal-Goines is the top recruit in the state of Arizona and one of the most versatile players in the 2025 class. Beal-Goines has showcased his elite athleticism with a 10.43 time in the 100m, highlighting his speed and quickness on the field. As a two-way player, he has excelled both as a cornerback and a wide receiver, but it’s his ability to shut down receivers that truly sets him apart. Scouts have described him as a “legitimate football player who enjoys the physicality of the game.”
Tyler Thomas, three-star OT (Dickinson HS / Dickinson)
Thomas is one of two offensive lineman in A&M’s recruiting class to be named a finalist for the prestigious Houston Touchdown Club’s award for the best offensive player in Texas. His size and mass at 6-foot-4 and 330 pounds suggest immense power potential, which will only increase as he continues to develop under A&M’s strength program.
Tristan “TK” Norman, three-star WR (Carver HS / Montgomery, Ala.)
Norman is known for his exceptional ability to create separation from defenders, a skill that A&M’s offense desperately needs. Standing 6 feet and weighing 170 pounds, Norman uses his speed and agility to make plays downfield and is a proven deep threat. As a track athlete, he boasts an impressive 22.6-foot long jump, showcasing his explosiveness and leaping ability.
Joshua Moses, three-star OL (Legacy the School of Sport Sciences / Houston)
Moses is the earliest commit in A&M’s 2025 class, having been committed since coach Jimbo Fisher’s tenure. The 6-foot-3, 325-pounder has been praised by Elko for being a person of great character.
Landon Rink, three-star DL (Cy-Fair HS / Cypress)
Rink is another of Elko’s earliest commits, pledging last spring. He’s ranked as the 24th-best defensive lineman nationally. His 6-foot-3, 280-pound frame allowed him to have a monster junior season, recording 15 sacks and earning him recognition as one of the top defensive prospects in Texas.
