Equestrian looks to avenge previous defeat against the Gamecocks

The No. 6 A&M Equestrian team will be looking to avenge an early season loss against No. 2 South Carolina this Saturday at the Hildebrand Equine Complex.
The Aggies (5-4 overall, 1-2 SEC) dropped their last match to the Gamecocks 8-12 on Halloween day.
The Aggies lackluster record, however, could be due to the high level of competition they’ve faced this season. Three of Texas A&M’s four losses have come against teams ranked in the top five nationally (South Carolina, No. 5 Auburn and No. 1 Baylor).
Working in A&M’s favor is their home Equine Complex advantage, where they are 5-0 so far. That includes an 11-7 victory over No. 4 Georgia. The only 2015 loss the Aggies suffered came to Baylor, a game in which they lost 11-8.
Only three matches remain on Texas A&M’s schedule before the SEC Championships begin on March 27th. This weekend’s competition against South Carolina kicks off Saturday at 11 a.m.
