Danuel House will return to A&M for his senior season.

The health of leading scorer Danuel House, who missed Saturday’s loss to Alabama with a sprained foot, remains doubtful for A&M’s SEC Tournament game Thursday against the winner of Auburn and Mississippi State.
Head coach Billy Kennedy said it would be a “stretch” for House to play Thursday, but the staff is hopeful.
“We are hoping to get Danuel back at some point this week,” Kennedy said.
House injured his foot in the closing minutes of the March 3 loss to Florida. That injury kept him out of the Saturday home finale, a 61-60 loss to Alabama that dropped the Aggies to No. 4 in the SEC.
Davonte Fitzgerald started in House’s place Saturday. Kennedy said freshman Peyton Allen might get the start Thursday.
The Aggies (20-10, 11-7) have lost three of their last four and remain on the bubble for the NCAA Tournament.
House leads A&M with 16.2 points per game in SEC play.
