After helping lead Texas A&M men’s basketball to an undefeated week, including a blowout win over No. 6 Tennessee, graduate guard Tyrece Radford has been named SEC Player of the Week.

In wins over Missouri and Tennessee, the Baton Rouge, Louisiana native averaged 24.5 points on an effective 53.1% shooting.

In the win over the Volunteers, Radford racked up 27 points, going 9-17 from the field with five rebounds and assists.

After an injury in the non conference, Radford has slowly been coming back into the form that got his All-SEC Second Team last season, as he has scored at least 22 points in each of the last three games.

Radford becomes the third Aggie to win SEC POTW after senior forward Henry Coleman III and junior G Wade Taylor IV were awarded the accolade earlier this season.
