ESPN’s College GameDay announced a return to College Station for the Lone Star Showdown against Texas on Nov. 30. The show’s guest speaker has yet to be announced, and the legendary crew of Rece Davis, Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, Steve Coughlin, Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee and Nick Saban will pick their winners for the rivalry game.
GameDay was last in Aggieland Week 1 of the season, as the Aggies faced off against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football at Kyle Field on Aug. 31. Even though there’s a lot of excitement, A&M is only 1-9 when the college football show comes to town.
If the Aggies pull off the upset against No. 3 Texas, the Maroon and White will clinch a spot in the Southeastern Conference title game against Georgia, the first team to secure the coveted spot.
