Former Texas A&M quarterback Conner Weigman announced Wednesday that he is transferring to the Houston Cougars for the 2025 season with two years of eligibility remaining.
Weigman was a five-star recruit out of Bridgeland High School in Cypress and signed with the Aggies as part of the 2022 recruiting class, which featured other notable recruits to have transferred out, such as wide receiver Evan Stewart and defensive lineman Walter Nolen.
The Cypress native finishes his Aggie career with 2,694 passing yards with 19 passing touchdowns while also rushing for two touchdowns. Weigman suffered multiple setbacks during his time in Aggieland and was replaced as starting quarterback by redshirt freshman QB Marcel Reed this season.
