The Cleveland Browns have chosen to fortify their offensive firepower, selecting junior wide receiver KC Concepcion with the 24th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
In his singular season at Texas A&M, Concepcion led the Aggies with 61 receptions for 919 receiving yards and nine touchdowns. Also a huge contributor on special teams, Cocepcion recorded an additional 456 punt return yards and a pair of touchdown returns, making him an instant asset for the Browns’ lackluster receiver room.
The star wideout led the Southeastern Conference receiving touchdowns and came second in punt return yards, earning the 2025 Paul Hornung Award for being the nation’s most versatile player.
“There’s been a lot of talk about who is the best wide receiver,” Concepcion said on the Rich Eisen Show. “I honestly feel like I am the best wide receiver. I bring the most versatility. I am the best playmaker in this class.”
The NC State transfer recorded 124 receptions for 1,299 yards and 16 touchdowns over the course of two seasons with the Wolfpack. In 2023, Concepcion was named both the Atlantic Coast Conference Rookie of the Year and ACC Offensive Rookie of the Year, before transferring to A&M for his junior season.
Concepcion’s best performance of the 2025 season came against Mississippi State on Oct. 4, where he caught four passes for 61 yards and a pair of receiving touchdowns, along with 22 rushing yards and three punt returns.
