Authorities received a report of a possible bomb threat at approximately 9:26 a.m. Friday at the Clayton Williams Alumni Center.
Officers were sent to the area and evacuated approximately 100 people from the building. The building was secured and thoroughly searched, said Lt. Allan Baron of the University Police Department.
According to Baron, the word bomb, was found written on a restroom mirror in the facility and reported by an employee.
An investigation was launched immediately and a Code Maroon emergency message subsequently issued.
At 11:08 a.m. Code Maroon issued that the building had been cleared and reopened for normal occupancy.
Baron said authorities are still investigating the threat, as well as bomb threat written on a non-academic building wall Wednesday.
