The Student Government Association is asking for applications for the student regent position. SGA will provide five student nominees from the applicant pool to the governor of Texas for consideration for the Texas A&M University System student regent position.
An email from the SGA exececutive branch said those interested in the position should have a passion for the University and the ability to communicate and represent student opinion to the Board of Regents.
No prior student government experience is required.
Students interested in applying can find more information on the A&M system website. Written applications are due in lockbox B2 in Koldus from Tuesday through 5 p.m. on Oct. 31. Those interested who are not currently in College Station may scan their written application and send it as a pdf file to [email protected].
