The Texas A&M University System Board of Regents called a special meeting Monday morning, which is set to be held at the Regents Annex adjacent to the Memorial Student Center this Thursday at 2:30 p.m.
The first item on the Executive Session Agenda is “discussion of legal and personnel issues relating to football program, including issues relating to appointment of new head coach.”
Reports are that A&M is set to hire current Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher in the coming days after dismissing Kevin Sumlin of his duties on Sunday afternoon.
Regents will meet to discuss and potentially approve the contract terms of the Aggies next head football coach.
