Texas A&M and the Indianapolis Colts have reached an “amicable” settlement, according to a Texas A&M University System news release sent out Wednesday.
The settlement comes following a lawsuit filed by Texas A&M claiming the Indianapolis Colts — the National Football League team of Indiana — continued using the 12th Man trademark, despite cease and desist letters sent from the University, according to ESPN.
“Texas A&M appreciates the positive and professional manner in which the Colts organization engaged in settlement discussions and extends its best wishes to the Indianapolis Colts for their continued success,” the news release read.
The original suit was filed in November last year.
