The Texas A&M bench looks on as the Longhorn Baseball Team warms up on the field.

The Aggies fell to the Longhorns Saturday night in Austin by a score of 8-3. Texas A&M now moves into the loser’s bracket and will play Indiana once again on Sunday afternoon at 2 P.M.

  • While the National Anthem plays the Aggies line up in front of their dugout with their right hand over their heart and their left hand in a “Gig ‘Em” behind their backs.

  • Junior pitcher Mitchell Kilkenny had a four inning long outing against the Longhorns for a loss and his record is now 8-5.

  • Junior right fielder Allonte Wingate sprints to home and is the first run on the board for the Aggies.

  • Junior pitcher Mitchell Kilkenny threw 90 pitches in four innings for Texas A&M.

  • Sophomore first baseman Chris Andritsos had three putouts against Texas.

  • Sophomore shortstop Braden Shewmake finished the evening with one putout and one assist.

  • Junior catcher Cole Bedford goes to the mound after freshman pitcher Dustin Saenz threw consecutive pitches outside of the strike zone 

  • Sophomore shortstop Braden Shewmake had one hit and one RBI against the Longhorns.

  • Freshman designated hitter Will Frizzell had two of the Aggies’ nine hits of the night and one RBI.

  • Freshman center fielder Zach DeLoach threw three putouts against Texas.

  • Sophomore pitcher Landon Minor threw 54 pitches in 2.2 innings for the Aggies.

  • Freshman pitcher Chandler Jozwiak forces a Longhorn runner back to second base after turning around.

  • Freshman pitcher Christian Roa capped off the night on the mound for the Aggies throwing 17 pitches to finish the ninth-inning.
