The No. 9 Texas A&M Aggies (7-0) returned to Reed Arena after a road victory over then No. 10 USC to play the visiting UTRGV Vaqueros (3-6). The Aggies started off the game with a 16-0 run and maintained that cushion until the Vaqueros cut the lead down to seven with more than 7 minutes remaining in the game.
