Regardless of your views on the ever-controversial pineapple pizza, there are many pizzerias in Bryan-College Station that can meet your needs. Friday, Feb. 9, is National Pizza day and these are the places that you should consider when placing an order.
1. Urban Bricks
Known for its “Neapolitan pizza with an all American attitude,” Urban Bricks specializes in personal pizzas. The San Antonio-based chain also serves items such as salad and gelato. On Friday, the Texas Avenue location will run an all-day special: buy one panini, get a free pizza.
2. Blaze Pizza
This “Fast-Fire’d” pizzeria is popular for its artisan pizzas and clean ingredients. Customers can earn a free fountain drink with their order when they download the restaurant’s app.
3. Antonio’s Pizza
Antonio’s is a College Station staple and conveniently located on Northgate. The location is praised for unique combinations of ingredients such as avocado and bacon.
4. Gumby’s Pizza
Home of the beloved pepperoni rolls, Gumby’s serves an array of tasty foods.These include wings, salads and cinnamon sticks. The popular pepperoni rolls can be purchased for $1.50 each.
5. Mr. G’s Pizza
A Bryan original, Mr. G’s is a classic family-owned joint. As each customer enters the store, they are personally greeted by Mr. G himself. Slices start at $2.50.
