The Texas A&M baseball teams lines the dugout before game three in the weekend series against Alabama. 

The Aggies closed out the three-game series against Alabama with a 7-4 loss. The loss marks the sixth in a row for the Aggies. Texas A&M managed to record four runs, 10 hits and zero errors in the game and a home run from junior Ty Coleman in the bottom of the sixth inning. Alabama scored a three-run homer to put them back on top in the seventh inning leaving A&M unable to recover.
The Aggies will regroup and travel to San Marcos on Tuesday, April 13 for a game against Texas State set to begin at 6 p.m. at Bobcat Ballpark.

  • Freshman pitcher Nathan Dettmer pitched through five innings for the Aggies on Sunday’s game against Alabama. 

  • Senior infielder Will Frizzell catches a ball on first base to hold off Alabama and secure an out. 

  • Sophomore outfielder Logan Britt struck out swinging (2-2) in the bottom of the second inning. 

  • Will Frizzell was the starting first-baseman for game three in the series against Alabama.

  • Graduate student Ray Alejo hits a single up the middle of the field to close Alabama’s 3-2 gap at the bottom of the third inning. 

  • Junior infielder Ty Coleman cheers for teammate Will Frizzell as he approaches home plate. 

  • Freshman Kalae Harrison struck out swinging at the bottom of the sixth inning. 

  • Will Frizzell earned 46 runs this season and 50 RBIs.

  • Freshman pitcher Nathan Dettmer recorded five strikeouts across the five innings he pitched. 

  • Junior pitcher Chris Weber was second in the pitching rotation for the Aggies, pitching a total of two innings. 

  • Ty Coleman hit a home run into left field for the Aggies during the sixth inning to tie up the score 4-4.

  • The UNIFIED patch is being worn by all Aggies sport teams for the 2020-21 school year.

  • Ty Coleman catches the ball on second base, but comes up short in an attempt to tag Alabama out. 

  • Senior Chandler Jozwiak was the third pitcher of four to check-in for the Aggies during the Alabama game. 

  • Junior infielder Austin Bost recorded four at-bats, one run and four hits for the Aggies on Sunday. 

  • Freshman Kalae Harrison comes up short in an attempt to advance to first base. 

  • Ray Alejo had four at-bats, one run and one hit in the game against Alabama.
