Freshman pitcher Jonathan Childress struck out a total of 3 players across 3.0 innings. 

On Mar. 1 at Minute Maid Park, Texas A&M played the University of Houston in their final game of the series. Texas A&M was the tournament champion this year due to them winning each game they played. The final score in the Texas A&M vs. UH game was 3-2.
