The Aggies lost their first game of the 2022 season against Texas Christian University with a score of 2-1 on Thursday, Sept. 8, 2022 at Ellis Field. The Aggies won their first point after a foul shot was taken by sophomore forward Maile Hayes (8) putting the Aggies up. At the 40 min mark, TCU came back with a goal tying the score 1-1. After a 41 minute score plateau, and back and fourth between the Aggies and TCU, TCU came back with a point leading to the ending score of 2-1.
