Senior Dorthea Faa-Hviding hits the ball back to her Utah opponent during doubles play. 

The newly ranked No. 24 Texas A&M women’s tennis team (@AggieWTEN) took on the undefeated (3-0) Utah Utes on the chilly afternoon of Feb. 12. After falling to Baylor in their most recent match, the Aggies were in search of a comeback and dominated their matches with a 7-0 win over Utah.  
The Aggies will spend Valentines Day in Houston where they will face McNeese at 11:45 a.m. in search of another victory.

  • Junior Madeline Lamoreaux represented the Utah Utes in Friday afternoons match against the Aggies. 

  • Junior Renee McBryde hits the ball with dominating power.

  • Sophomore Jessica Anzo helps doubles partner Riley McQuaid produce a dominating win of 6-0 over Utah. 

  • Utah junior, Madeline Lamoreaux celebrates a hard-fought point over the Aggies in doubles play. 

  • The Aggies will have four new players in their huddle in 2021.

  • The Aggies gather together in support of thier teammates to cheer them on following the conclusion of their doubles matches. 

  • Senior Riley McQuaid and junior Renee McBryde share a high five in between matches. 

  • Junior Jayci Goldsmith closes out the 7-0 victory over Utah with a win in her singles match.

  • Senior Tatiana Makarova clinches her singles win with scores of 6-2 and 6-3 over two sets. 

  • Senior Riley McQuaid wins her singles match in a dominating fashion with a big 6-0 and 6-1 win. 

  • Senior Dorthea Faa-Hviding sprints to recover the ball and scores a crucial point in her singles match.
