Senior Angel Martinez battled against LSU to come away with victories in both the 100m and 200m Butterfly event. 

The Texas A&M men’s (No. 10) and women’s (No. 8) swimming and diving teams defeated LSU on Senior Day, Jan. 19.

  • Senior Sydney Pickrem took first place in the Women’s 200m Backstroke, 200m Freestyle Relay (with teammates Rasmus, Carlton, and Eldridge), and 100m Breaststroke. Over the weekend Pickrem also swam Longhorn Long Course Invite, tallying a qualifying cut in the U.S. Olympic Team Trials. 

  • Seniors, families, and friends, celebrate Senior Day at the Texas A&M Natatorium before the Swimming and Diving meet vs. LSU.  

  • The No. 10 ranked Texas A&M Men’s Swimming and Diving team took home a win over their rival, LSU, with a points total of 167 – 132.

  • Junior Haley Allen placed first in the Women’s 3M dive with a total of (384.75) points. 

  • The Aggie women face off in an exhibition match.  

  • Associate Head Coach Tanica Jamison coaches her swimmers throughout the race vs. LSU

  • The Texas A&M Women’s Swimming and Diving team moves on with a win against LSU, and will spend the upcoming week preparing to face off against Vanderbilt at home. 

  • The Texas A&M Women’s Swimming and Diving team now carry a 6-1 record, with two meets to go until the SEC championships in Athens, GA. 

  • In the Women’s 3M Dive, Texas A&M placed first, fourth, fifth, and sixth in the points totals. 

  • Texas A&M Head Coach Steve Bultman coached his Women’s Swimming and Diving team to a 172 – 121 victory over rival, LSU. 

  • Sophomore Nathan Cootes.  

  • The Texas A&M Men’s Swimming and Diving Team now carry a 4-3 record with a meet against SMU left, before the start of the SEC Championships. 

  • Sophomore Camryn Toney signals out to her family ahead of the Women’s 200m Breaststroke. 

  • Angel Martinez celebrated Senior Day with his family and friends before facing off against LSU. 

  • Sophomore Kurtis Matthews, took second place behind teammate Sam Thornton in the Men’s 1M Dive.

  • Senior Sam Thornton placed first in the Men’s 1M Dive with a total of (407.78) points. 

  • Senior Claire Rasmus placed first in every event she raced in against LSU on January 19, 2019. Over the weekend of January 18, 2018, Rasmus also swam in the Longhorn Long Course Invite, tallying a qualifying cut for the U.S. Olympic Team Trials.

  • Sophomore Joy Field goes the distance, as she wins the Women’s 1000m Freestyle with a time of (10:11.1) minutes.  

  • Freshman Shaine Casas took second place in the Men’s 200m backstroke with a time of (1:47.33) minutes.

  • Junior Victoria Roubique responds with “gig’ em” to the cheers of her teammates, ahead of the Women’s 200m Breaststroke event. Roubique also swam in the Longhorn Long Course Invite, tallying a qualifying cut for the U.S. Olympic Team Trials.

  • Junior Victoria Roubique placed second in the Women’s 200m breaststroke with a time of (2:16.43) minutes. 

  • Sophomore Jing Wen Quah placed second in the Women’s 100m Butterfly with a time of (54.86) seconds.

  • Senior Connor Long signals to his teammates after being announced for the Men’s 100m Butterfly.   

  • Senior Connor Long placed third in the Men’s 100m Butterfly with a time of (49.84) seconds.

  • Sophomore Mark Theall placed fifth in the Men’s 100m Butterfly. Mark also helped his teammates reach a second place outcome, as the third leg of the Men’s 200m Freestyle Relay.
