The Texas A&M women’s tennis team won their first round match of the NCAA D-I Women’s Tennis Championship tournament. Thanks to a victory in the doubles portion of the match and then individual wins from freshman Mary Stoiana, freshman Jeanette Mireles, and graduate Tatiana Makarova, the Aggies won 4-0 in just under 90 minutes. The Aggies will return to the Mitchell Tennis Center tomorrow at 1pm for the second round of the tournament where they will face the Baylor Bears.
