800 Bama tickets up for grabs

Although classification ticket pull for Saturday’s home football game against Alabama wrapped up at 5 p.m. Thursday afternoon, 800 student tickets still remain unclaimed, according to an email from senior associate athletics director Jason Cook said.

The remaining tickets will go on sale at 8 a.m. Friday on a first come, first served basis. Camping out is not allowed, but the line opens up at 5 a.m.

Students with sports passes who did not pull a ticket before 5 p.m. Thursday still have a chance to pick up a ticket. Student guest tickets, which were previously not being sold for this game, will also now be on sale for $100 at the ticket window. Students who already have a ticket but wish to purchase a guest ticket will be reassigned to a seat location next to the guest’s seat upon presenting their ticket.

Because all students with a sports pass have had the opportunity to pull a ticket, the final 800 student tickets have been made available to all students, regardless if they purchased a sports pass or not. For students buying a ticket for themselves who do not have sports passes, tickets will be sold for $50, which is half of face value.
