Karl Rove, senior advisor and later deputy chief of staff to former President George W. Bush, will speak at the Annenberg Presidential Conference Center Wednesday about his new book, “The Triumph of William McKinley: Why the Election of 1896 Still Matters.”
The event, sponsored by the George Bush Presidential Library Foundation, is called “An Evening with Karl Rove.” Rove’s book analyzes the 1896 race between Republican William McKinley and Democrat William Jennings Bryan.
Rove also oversaw the Offices of Strategic Initiatives, Political Affairs, Public Liaison and Intergovernmental Affairs during his time at the White House.
“An Evening with Karl Rove” will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the Annenberg Presidential Conference Center. Following the event, there will be a reception and book signing.
